By using a GGF Member company you are guaranteed to be dealing with a firm that has financial stability and has been trading for a minimum of 3 years โ€“ there are no phoenix companies in the GGF. Jardine Conservatories has been vetted and has premises, products and employees fit for purpose, as well as employing trained professionals to ensure your installation is to the highest technical standards as outlined by the GGF Glazing Manual. This also ensures we comply with the GGF Consumer Code of Practice which ensures we operate in line with relevant consumer legislation, and are regularly audited to ensure our compliance with GGF Rules. This Consumer Code offers you free access to the GGF Conciliation Scheme and, in the unlikely event of a dispute with a GGF member company, it also offers you transferable warranties โ€“ should you sell your property, you can advise the buyer that the guarantee can be transferred over to them by the Member Company who fitted your products for a reasonable fee.

Certass is a Competent Person Scheme. CPS were introduced by the Government to allow individuals and enterprises to self-certify that their work complies with building regulations, as and alternative to submitting a building notice or using an approved inspector. Certass covers the installation of replacement windows, doors, and associated glazing products in domestic properties, and is licensed by the Department for Communities and Local Government. All Certass members are checked in a number of ways. Their trading record and financial status is checked, along with checks that estimates are provided in plain language, and that the โ€œ14 day cooling offโ€ legislation is adhered to. Furthermore, checks are done to ensure that the guarantee wording is fair, that a complaints handling procedure is in operation, and that sample installations are annually inspected. Finally, these checks ensure that consumers are given an insurance backed guarantee, and that window installations meet current thermal rating regulations. We are part of this scheme.
